Good Friends and Packing

I'm blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!! On Monday, I met up with Yllen, Eve, and Angel and her sweet mom and daughter for lunch. I got to hear about Yllen's trip to Mexico and Peru, Eve's trip to Taiwan, and Angel's plan to have her baby this Friday! We also talked about the gospel, Eve and Yllen's love lives, Parley, our research, and the delicious food. We had cantaloupe, dumplings and this cucumber salad that was way too spicy for me that Angel's mom's made, sausage and Taiwanese cookies from Eve, guacamole Yllen made, and strawberries I brought. :) Yllen brought me a necklace from Mexico that says Mom on it. I'm really going to miss them! It feels so good to be together.

I've also been working on packing with my good friends. Yesterday, my friend Liz came over to help pack/ take care of Parley. She's moving all her stuff into an apartment this week before getting married, but she still came to help us. It was the sweetest thing! Also, packing all week, I've spent lots more time with Nikki, my best friend. He has done SO much, especially since I'm usually the Parley holder through it all. But I follow him around helping him pack or taking care of Parley, and we chat about what to get rid of and everything else. I love him so much!! I am so, very glad I have him.

We tuckered ourselves out with all the packing, so we're taking a rest day tomorrow. I'm excited to work and hang out with Parley a bit more and make sure he gets really good naps. He's the cutest little friend. He has been so smiley! I have the most wonderful life!
