One More Day in Provo
Tomorrow is our last day in Provo! We're going to do all our last minute packing and cleaning, and then at 7am on Friday, we're picking up our U-Haul truck. I can't believe it's really happening! I texted with our new bishop and elders quorum president today. They are so nice and are going to get some people to come help Nikki move the piano on Sunday. They're both professors at FSU.
We went on a lovely morning walk with Parley. This evening, I went running around Provo for probably the last time. We'll see how tomorrow goes. It was a big deal because it was my first mile since my third trimester that was less than 9 minutes. It was 8:54. :) I think I've ran in Provo more than anywhere else. I trained for two half marathons here. I just love the little routes I go on and the sky and the mountain and how cool it gets in the morning, even in the middle of the summer. We also had outdoor baby on our lawn under the big sky with random students passing by. Lots more people smile at us since we have such a cute baby. One girl told us our baby is cute and that she'd love to babysit him. He's quite the popular guy! I'm really going to miss it here. We've had such a sweet, wonderful few years!
It makes me so happy that Lili and Josh are going to move in here. It's such a great place and a special time of life. We've been so blessed. And we're on to our next adventure!
It is always sad to leave a place. I know you've been very happy there. I'm thankful that you have so many good blessings. I know Florida will be great.
ReplyDeleteGood job on your mile! Bring on Starr Valley Baby!
ReplyDeleteSuch a bittersweet time! Moving across the country to a place you've never seen is not for the faint of heart, but it can also be pretty spectacular. Good luck with everything and good job with that adorable baby. XO
