The Dream

I don't have too much to report. I'm just happy. Nikki is back from Copenhagen, and it's the best thing in the world to have our little family back together. Our house is getting closer and closer to being put together, and it's looking nice. Nikki did a ton on the living room this week, and I love how it looks. I've been cooking a lot, and I've had a lot of fun. I didn't cook at all for two weeks. The break was nice, but I actually missed it way more than I expected. I fasted for the longest I have since getting pregnant today for Katie and Olivia and their family. I love them and am praying for them. I've been nervous to fast while breast feeding, but I drank water, and it went so fine.

We went to church with our new ward today, and everyone was so nice and friendly. I'm excited to get to know them. And I just love church. It was wonderful to take the sacrament and be able to go to Sunday School with Nikki and Parley. It was raining when we got out of church and has been raining ever since. It's hot and humid and beautiful here! I bought outside chairs and an outside rug for our back porch that I'm so happy with. We're working hard to have Parley nap in his crib and are making progress. He's started twisting in his crib. I don't know if he does it while he sleeps or one he's awake, but I'll put him down one way, and when I come back in the room, he'll be facing a completely different direction!

I just feel really blessed. I love my family more than I can say. I'm so happy with our life together. We're gearing up for Nikki to start his program in a couple weeks, but for now, it's just so nice to be together. We are living the dream.
