Saturday Night
For a couple of days, Nikki has been saying that he is craving a drink that isn't caffeinated (he has these little caffeine drink mixes he has in the morning) and isn't water. I suggested milk (that's what I have), but he wasn't interested. He's not really a milk person.
I've been wanting to get out of the house. We stayed home last weekend for general conference, and then I've been sick this week, so I missed the Relief Society activity and haven't even been running.
As a solution to all our problems, Nikki had the idea to go out and get drinks before the BYU game. I'm not really a drink person (except milk), but I was excited to go on a family date. I did some research to find anywhere very close that has fun sodas and icecream (because I am an icecream person) but had no luck. Tallahassee doesn't have any soda places. It makes you miss Utah. So we decided to get Nikki a drink at Taco Bell and make our own treat.
I drove and rolled the windrow down and was so happy to be out in the world! The weather has been so nice! Parley didn't have quite as much fun. He screamed pretty much the whole time. We've been trying hard with solids, and when we got back, Parley spit up carrots all over. I think he might have had an upset stomach on the drive. Taco Bell had a fancy new drink, and Nikki got it.
We drove back home with Parley still screaming. When we got home, Nikki tasted his drink and realized it was tea. He threw it away. Parley spit up and got a snack and a bath which made him feel much better. And I made some really easy chocolate mousse (which was just whipped cream with cocoa powder in it). We started the BYU game, but now it's delayed because of lighting.
Parley's new highchair!
Nikki said I wasn't a real fan because I wasn't wearing FSU gear during the FSU game. I pointed out that he wasn't either. He went upstairs and put on his FSU hat and my FSU shirt.
My snuggly boy. He got immunizations on Thursday, and it made him a little sick and extra grumpy and snuggly for a couple days.
My boys! Parley was very fascinated by Nikki putting his high chair together.
Parley's cute hat! My face in the first picture matches Parley's face in the second picture. We didn't do it on purpose or it would be in the same picture.
Parley learned how to take his socks off. He's really proud.
Rolly polly baby!
He put his toy there!
Escape Baby!
